Freemasonry is one of the oldest and most widely recognized fraternal orders in the world. For centuries, it has brought together men of good character across professions, backgrounds, and beliefs, united by shared values and a commitment to something greater than themselves.
Membership at Prospect Lodge is open to men who meet the qualifications of the Craft and who come of their own free will and accord.
Why Men Join

Prospect Lodge is active in our community. Members give their time, their resources, and their skills to causes that reflect the values of the Craft: relief, education, and care for those in need.

The Reality Many Men Recognize
The fraternal organizations that once anchored communities have thinned out. Mentorship between generations of men has become informal at best. And the kind of conversation that actually challenges a man, the kind that asks hard questions about how you are living and who you are becoming, has largely disappeared from daily life.
Freemasonry was built precisely for this.
Not as an escape from the world, but as a place to prepare for it. The lodge has always been where men came to be refined, to ask the questions that matter, and to leave better than they arrived.

What to Expect
When you express interest in Prospect Lodge, you will be invited to meet some of our members informally, with no obligation and no pressure.
If there is a mutual fit, you will be guided through the petition process and, when the time is right, through the three degrees of Masonry, each one a distinct experience that you will carry with you for the rest of your life.
You will not be rushed. You will not be sold to. Freemasonry asks that a man come forward on his own terms, in his own time, because he wants what the Craft offers.
The men of Prospect Lodge have been meeting in this community for 136 years. What they share is not a profession or a background. It is a commitment to the Craft and to each other.
